Strength in Anime Dice means cash per second, not combat power — Damage and Health only matter inside towers, while your plot earning money is the main loop. By recorded base income, Enol leads at $9.1K/s, followed by Sakuna at $2K/s, Madera at $1.5K/s and Maheto at $1.1K/s.
But the base number is only the starting point. A unit's real output is its rarity band multiplied by Grade, trait, mutation and the pad it stands on, which is why two copies of the same character can differ enormously.
Anime Dice tier list by recorded income
These are base-copy panel values recorded from the game, ordered by income. Treat them as a starting comparison rather than a final ranking, because Size, mutation, Grade, trait and account bonuses all change what a copy actually earns.
| Tier | Unit | Index odds | Recorded income |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | Enol | 1 in 290K | $9.1K/s |
| S | Sakuna | 1 in 38K | $2K/s |
| A | Madera | 1 in 25K | $1.5K/s |
| A | Maheto | 1 in 16K | $1.1K/s |
| A | Todoh | 1 in 11K | $851/s |
| B | Super Saiyen | 1 in 5K | $480/s |
| B | Goko | 1 in 3.5K | $371/s |
| B | Zaro | 1 in 1.7K | $219/s |
| C | Hasoka | 1 in 1.2K | $170/s |
| C | Deko | 1 in 850 | $132/s |
| C | Bakuga | 1 in 450 | $83/s |
| D | Todoraki and below | 1 in 325 or lower | $66/s or lower |
Gujo, Levy, Pikolo and Zenitsa are in the roster but their odds and income have never been published.
The five layers that decide a unit's value
Rank by the stack, not the face. A unit's income is the product of its rarity band, its Grade, its trait, its mutation and the pad multiplier where it stands, and any one of those layers can outweigh a higher base rarity.
This is measurable in play. One documented account held a 1-in-5.2-million unit that earned less than a lower-rarity unit beside it, purely because the modifiers on the other copy were better.
- Mutation — the only layer that cannot be overwritten.
- Rarity band — the base of the multiplication.
- Grade — bought with Gems, up to 25× income at Z+.
- Trait — rolled with Trait Rerolls, up to 15× at Transcendent.
- Pad — some tiles tick faster than others.

How to place your units
The layers give you a simple sorting rule for every session. Move your best stack onto whichever tile ticks fastest, spend Gems from the top down, and only spend Trait Rerolls on units in the top two tiers.
Everything below that is coverage. Commons are not bad units — they fill holes and print money overnight — they just never receive Gems or rerolls.
The worst thing on your plot is an empty pad
An empty pedestal earns exactly zero, which makes it worse than any Common you could have placed there. A rare unit left sitting on your cursor while you admire it is in the same category until you actually place it.
Eight Commons running for eight hours will out-earn one ultra-rare standing alone on an otherwise empty plot. Rarity is your ceiling; coverage is your floor, and holes in the floor cost more than a weak ceiling does.
Traps that look like good units
The first trap is judging by artwork. Promotional art favours dramatic silhouettes, but a Common that looks like the banner unit is still a Common — check the rarity tag in the Index rather than the picture.
The second is splitting resources. When two strong units drop together, fully Grade one instead of dividing Gems between them, because split Grades leave both stuck in the middle. The third is a high-rarity unit with no Grade at all, which loses to a well-Graded mid-rarity keeper.
What the top of the ladder looks like
The game's promotional material advertises odds of 1 in 9,342,584 for its rarest pull. That number is a marketing ceiling, not a pity timer — luck upgrades and Lucky Spins only tilt the table toward it.
For a sense of scale at the high end, one documented plot held a Mythical unit generating around $7 billion per second. Against Enol's $9.1K/s base value, that shows how far the multiplier stack can carry a single unit.
Grades: the multiplier you actually control
Rarity is luck, but Grade is a purchase, which makes it the fastest way to move a unit up this list. Grades are rolled with Gems at the Grades station in the hub, and there are nine of them.
The spread is wide enough to outweigh several rarity bands. Z+ gives 25× income, Z gives 15×, S+ gives 10× and S gives 7×, while the common results — B at 1.6×, C at 1.2× and D at 1.1× — barely move the needle.
Gems come free from the Daily Rewards menu and from clearing waves in tower challenges. Because the top Grades are rare rolls, spend the whole stack on one unit rather than rolling once on several.
| Grade | Income multiplier |
|---|---|
| Z+ | 25× |
| Z | 15× |
| S+ | 10× |
| S | 7× |
| A+ | 4.5× |
| A | 3× |
| B | 1.6× |
| C | 1.2× |
| D | 1.1× |
Using this tier list in an actual session
Open with placement rather than shopping. Sort your pads by the layer list above, move your best stack onto the tile that ticks fastest, and make sure nothing is left sitting in your backpack.
Then spend from the top down: Gems on your highest-scoring unit until its Grade feels finished, Trait Rerolls only on units in the top two tiers, and nothing at all on Commons beyond letting them occupy space.
If nothing on your board reaches the A tier, stop optimising and go roll. Buy a luck upgrade, burn a Lucky Spin burst, and come back to this list when something worth Grading actually drops.
What has not been published
These values have never been released by the developer or recorded by any source we could verify. We leave them blank rather than estimating.
- Index odds and income for Gujo, Levy, Pikolo and Zenitsa have never been published — check the panel on your own copy.
- There is no official table mapping characters to rarity names such as Rare, Epic, Legendary or Mythical. Dice have published rarity bands; characters do not.
- Because mutation and Size multipliers are unpublished, no source can accurately compare a mutated lower-rarity unit against a plain higher-rarity one.
