Luck in Anime Dice is a weight on the rarity table, not a combat stat. It makes rare pulls more frequent; it never guarantees a specific unit.

It comes from four stacking sources: your dice, which run from Fire at 5× up to Chrono at 25,000,000×; the permanent multiplier from rebirth, which reaches 2.5× by Rebirth 3; luck upgrade nodes bought with Cash; and Lucky Spins, which are a temporary burst.

All 22 Anime Dice luck multipliers

Dice are the largest single luck lever and the only source with fully published numbers. Prices are shown in the game's shorthand: Qa is quadrillion, Qi is quintillion and Sx is sextillion.

Luck roughly doubles per tier, but price does not. Storm to Shadow is +87.5% luck for 7.5× the cost.

More luck does not guarantee a rarer unit

Displayed luck is a way to compare dice, not the full roll formula. An 87.5% increase in displayed luck does not translate to an 87.5% better chance at any particular character.

The promotional 1 in 9,342,584 figure exists precisely because the top of the table is meant to feel unreachable. Luck upgrades shave that down; they do not remove it, and you will still roll Commons.

The four sources of luck

Dice provide the headline number, but they are not the only lever. Rebirth raises Cash and Luck together on a single permanent multiplier, stepping 1× → 1.5× → 2× → 2.5× across the first three prestiges.

Luck-facing upgrade nodes are bought with Cash in the upgrade tree, and Lucky Spins are consumable bursts that come from redemption codes and Daily Rewards. Spins stack with your nodes rather than replacing them.

  • Dice — 5× to 25,000,000×, bought with Cash.
  • Rebirth multiplier — up to 2.5× by Rebirth 3, permanent.
  • Luck upgrade nodes — bought with Cash in the upgrade tree.
  • Lucky Spins — temporary burst, from codes and Daily Rewards.

Buy luck in this order

The sequence matters more than the total. Fill your pads first so cash actually exists, then take the cheapest luck-facing node available, then redeem your codes, and only then burn Lucky Spins.

Spending spins on default dice is the most common early leak, because a temporary boost applied to a weak table produces very little. The same logic applies to Robux luck products — they stack on top of nodes, they do not substitute for them.

  • Fill every plot pad so income is running.
  • Buy the cheapest luck-facing upgrade node.
  • Redeem all six codes for Lucky Spins, Trait Rerolls and Gems.
  • Burn Lucky Spins in a burst, not one at a time.
  • Save for the next dice tier.

When to stop buying dice and rebirth instead

Because price climbs faster than luck does, each tier buys less luck per coin than the last. Storm to Shadow costs 7.5× as much for less than double the luck, and the pattern continues up the table.

That is the argument for prestiging. Once the next dice tier costs more than a clean rebirth would return in the following session, the multiplier is the better purchase — and it raises Cash as well as Luck.

Keep your wallets separate: dice nodes want Cash, Grade wants Gems, traits want Trait Rerolls. Mixing them up is the most common upgrade mistake.

Where luck upgrades sit in the wider tree

The upgrade tree also contains Money, Roll Speed, Unit Storage, Sell, Walk Speed, Damage and Health. Experienced players prioritise Money and Luck, treat Roll Speed and Unit Storage as useful, and leave Damage and Health until tower runs are the goal.

Unit Storage deserves a note: when your backpack fills, rolling silently stops producing. A fully funded luck tree you cannot roll into is worth nothing, so buy capacity when the die stalls.

The dice rarity bands

The 22 dice are grouped into nine rarity bands, and the band tells you roughly where you are in the game. Uncommon and Rare cover Fire through Ice, which is the first hour; Epic covers Magma, Storm and Shadow, which is where most active accounts sit.

Legendary begins at Light for $12B and marks the transition into billions. Beyond that, Mythical, Divine, Exotic and Celestial climb through trillions and quadrillions, and the three Secret I dice — Corrupted, Titan and Chrono — sit in the quintillions and sextillions.

Chrono at $15Sx for 25,000,000× luck is the documented ceiling. It is a long-term target rather than a plan, and reaching it depends far more on stacked rebirth multipliers than on grinding a single run.

A realistic dice progression

The early tiers go quickly. Fire at $2.5K and Water at $10K are affordable within minutes of filling your pads, and Nature at $75K arrives around the time your first rebirth does.

The pace changes at Ice for $4M and Magma for $30M, where each purchase starts to represent a real session. Storm at $200M is the tier most mid-game footage shows players running, and Shadow at $1.5B is the usual next target.

From Light at $12B upward, expect to rebirth between purchases rather than saving straight through. Each prestige raises Cash as well as Luck, so the multiplier is what carries you between tiers, not patience.

What has not been published

These values have never been released by the developer or recorded by any source we could verify. We leave them blank rather than estimating.

  • There is no published formula converting a luck value into a drop rate.
  • The individual values and number of tiers in the luck upgrade node tree are unpublished.
  • The multiplier and duration of a Lucky Spin have never been stated.
  • Whether the four luck sources multiply or add together is unconfirmed.
